Time to get up early and go down to your favourite haunt and photo that sunrise, be it at the beach in the park or just walking the dog, these photo's stand out from the crowd. Here's our tip for this kind of photo!
Remember when you are shooting into the sun it can throw your camera's inbuilt light sensor completely off course, focus your camera just above the sun, hold the shutter button halfway down, this will tell the camera to set the exposure on what it sees in the viewfinder, keep the shutter button pressed halfway, then you can move your camera and recompose your photo just the way you would like it, when you are happy that everything is looking A1 press the shutter button all the way down to take the photo, you will see that the picture is spot on.
