Location: What kind of feel do you want to the picture? I recommend taking on the great outdoors. Generally outdoor pictures always look so much better, well providing you catch some decent weather. Take some shots at the park, or get out on your bikes. It will add a great dynamic and capture the fun side of family life.

Fashion: This one is really dependant on how dedicated you are to your family portrait and getting that picture perfect look.
