How to take photographs suitable for printing on canvas.
Wednesday 16th October 2013
When taking photographs that you intend using for canvas prints there are a few thing you need to remember.
1, Allow 2 inches all around your main subject.[ this will ensure that none of your main subject is folded around the edge and the back of the canvas when stretched]
2,If it is unavoidable that your main subject is near the edge choose to have a border put on your image this will keep everything as you see it with a coloured border going around the edges.
3,The larger the photo you take the better the reproduction.[ Try to make your image at least 1mb or larger for the best results]
4,The final tip if you are new to photography is to make sure you hold your camera as steady as possible and do not try hand holding your camera with a shutter speed of less than 60 to avoid camera shake which sometimes is not noticeable until you enlarge your picture. [ For best results use a tripod and a remote shutter release.]
I hope that this information will be of some use to you and happy picture taking!
